Product Description

Teddy Bear Velvet Underglaze is a chestnut color that is a warm tan at cone 05, darkens to a russet color at cone 5, and lightens and begins to burn out at cone 10. A clear glaze accentuates the underglaze at cone 05 but burns out some color at cone 5 and cone 10.

Because of the unique breaking quality of the Opalescent glazes, it is worthwhile to experiment with laying down a few base coats of a velvet underglaze color that will look good peeking out where there is texture that the glaze breaks to reveal.
