Product Description

Lavender Velvet Underglaze is a soft periwinkle color at cone 05, deeper at cone 5, and burns out at cone 10. A clear glaze over Lavender will accentuate the color at cone 05 and 5. At cone 10, some bluish tones from the underglaze will remain.

Because of the unique breaking quality of the Opalescent glazes, it is worthwhile to experiment with laying down a couple of base coats of an underglaze color that will look good peeking out where there is texture that the glaze breaks to reveal.
