A subtle turquoise gloss, green-beige where thin, but a beautiful aqua where thick. Great for textured ware and layering with other Potter's Choice glazes.
Due to the powdered nature of the materials involved with the dry-mix dipping buckets of this product, their respective health information and labels differ from the brushing glazes.
*Note that all dry dipping glazes can be difficult to layer. Dipping glazes behave differently from brushing and they require thorough testing prior to layering full piece.
Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
Here are some examples of Potter's Choice Glazes layered with Texturizer. If Texturizer is on the bottom, first brush on a layer of Texturizer, then lightly sponge it off. Next brush on 3 coats of Potter's Choice. If Texturizer is shown as the top layer, brush on 3 coats of Potter's Choice Glaze for the base coat, then lightly sponge on one coat of Texturizer. Tiles show on AMACO'S #46 Buff Stoneware Clay and fired to cone 5/6.
