Any AMACO glaze can be a crystalline glaze by simply adding glaze crystals to wet glaze after application! The Turquoise Glaze crystals add bursts of robin's egg blue that break up the surface of flat colored glazes with interesting effects and add depth to the overall finished piece. It is recommended that these crystals be fired at cone 05 for the best results, but can be used at any temperature.
Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
