Stoneware with Grog 48
Product Description
Compounded of several clays selected for their plastic qualities, along with coarse fire-clay and added grog for texture. When fired to cone 5/6 in oxidation, bisque is a warm buff color peppered with dark specks similar to a reduced stoneware body. When reduction fired, it becomes a very dark brown. Transparent glazes allow the dark specks in the clay to show for a peppered surface.
