Lesson Plan #22 is a project utilizing casting kit #40055T.

These kits contain all the materials needed to create glass tiles or sculptures. First, model your sculpture or low relief using the clay and tools that are provided. Make a frame around the piece using a cardboard box or wood. Mix and pour the Coarse Glass Casting Mix to make the mold. When the mold sets up, remove the clay model and let it dry. When dry, place in the kiln, load with glass billets and fuse according to directions. A project sheet is also included as a guide for first time users.

5 lbs. of clear billet chunks
10 lbs. of fine casting mix
2 modeling tools

Kit 40098Y also includes 2 lbs. of casting glass in a combination of frit and 3" x 3", 1/4" thick tiles: 1/4 lb. each of these colors: Lemon Chiffon (frit), Cobalt Blue, Spearmint, and Tangerine (tiles)
