Cone 05. AMACO® Sedona Red Casting Slip has a rich red color before and after firing. This red casting slip is formulated to fire at Cone 05, but can be fired up to Cone 02. The rich red color deepens the higher you fire it, giving you a great terra cotta look in whatever you're casting, from kitchen ware to wine coolers.
Many transparent and all opalescent glazes are enriched by the red colored clay. Shrinkage at Cone 05 is 7% and absorption is 12.5%.
Available in 1 gallon liquid.
