- Improved plasticity makes No. 65 an excellent high fire clay body for wheel throwing, sculpture, and all methods of hand building
- Unfired, it is pure white and very, very white when bisque fired. Thin pieces are translucent when fired to Cone 5
- AP Non-Toxic moist formula
- Firing range is Cone 5-6 with best results at Cone 5
- 65-M can be fired at low temperatures of Cone 04 resulting in a porous bisque on which Amaco® high fire glazes are easy to apply or fired to Cone 5
- Any high fire Amaco® glaze or underglaze can be used on this clay
Clay in moist form presents no hazard.
Packaging: Two 25 lb. blocks of clay in polyethelene bags are packed in a 50 lb. carton.
