The AMACO No. 1 Wheel is a two-speed table model that is well built to give years of low cost, trouble free service. And at only 70 lbs, its perfect for classroom instruction or taking to workshops and demonstrations. Photo shows the No. 1 Wheel on the AMACO Wheel Stand No. 1B (optional).
- Powerful direct drive -- no belts to worry about
- Heavy non-corrosive aluminum worktable -- easy to clean, one piece casting
- Two speed, permanent magnet, 1/3 hp 110V AC motor -- off/low/high switch changes the speeds from 65 to 95 rpm -- the best speeds for centering, throwing, and trimming
- Amps: 4.5 at 65 rpm, 7.8 at 95 rpm
- Gear driven -- allows you to throw extremely large pieces without reduction of speed
- Enclosed transmission -- virtually maintenance free
- Concentric circles marked on 12" wheel head -- makes centering easier
- Sloped worktable -- drippings flow into the removable water reservoir
- Protective rubber feet - eliminate vibration and are constructed to fit the AMACO Wheel Stand No. 1B
