The FA-44 is a well-insulated front-loading kiln with the capability to fire to Cone 03. Practical for small classrooms and studios, the FA-44 is ideal for metal enameling, china painting, and glass decorating projects. An optional base is available for storing supplies and kiln furniture. Features of the FA-44 include:

• 4" of combined firebrick and block insulation for greater firing efficiency and lower radiant temperature making it extremely safe for school use

• Strong 1/8" welded steel bottom frames, 11 gauge welded steel top frames, 18 gauge steel shells mean unsurpassed durability
