The FA-44 is a well-insulated front-loading kiln with the capability to fire to Cone 03. Practical for small classrooms and studios, the FA-44 is ideal for metal enameling, china painting, and glass decorating projects. An optional base is available for storing supplies and kiln furniture. Features of the FA-44 include:
4" of combined insulation for greater firing efficiency and lower radiant temperature making it extremely safe for school use
14" x 14" x 14" (1.59 cubic foot) firing chamber capacity
Strong 1/8" welded steel bottom frames, 11 gauge welded steel top frames, 18 gauge steel shells mean unsurpassed durability
Refractory-backed steel door fits snugly and swings open for easy stacking, reducing back strain during loading and unloading
Top-quality Kanthal 14 gauge element wires are securely housed within deeply recessed grooves in firing chamber walls which can be removed easily
