Underglazes are not recommended for use under these DG glazes because of their opacity. DG's are ideal for use over AMACO Indian Red clay No. 67 or Terra Cotta clay No. 77 when intense true color is desired (because of their opacity). Deco Gloss Opaque Glazes may be applied to mature Cone 04 (1971°F, 1077°C) bisque by brushing, pouring or dipping. Recommended firing temperature is Cone 05 (1911°F, 1044°C). The three White gloss glazes from Amaco offer a variety of finishes when fired. DG-11 Deco White fires to a pure white, LG-11 fires white, and F-11 White fires to an off-white.
