Crea-Stone is a lightweight casting/sculpting material which has a granite look and texture when hard. Crea-Stone mixes with water to achieve a thick paste like a cement mix. This paste can be poured into rubber molds to reproduce images that will harden like stone and can be used outdoors. When hard, the piece will be weather resistant.

Five pounds of Crea-Stone will make one gallon of casting material which will cover 230 cu. in.

Crea-stone™ can also be used in a creative manner by doing original sculpture or bas-reliefs. Prepare a form out of wood or cardboard that is about the size and shape of the intended finished piece. Pour Crea-stone™ into the shape and as soon as it is set, but not dry (approximately 20 minutes after being poured into the mold), take it out and it is ready to carve.

Carving can be done very easily with any sculpting or carving tools or with simply a knife or chisel. At this point, Crea-stone™ is going through a chemical reaction and is hardening more and more all the time. Therefore, try to keep it wet with water – but also work fast. As you progress, you will feel it hardening. You will have to change the carving tools accordingly – from a knife to a hammer and chisel. It is best to plan to have the piece finished within four hours time.
