Designer Newsletter Volume 22 July 10, 2008 Hobby Lobby To Carry Full Friendly Plastic Line Dear Designers... We have heard you! You have said you are too busy with work deadlines, summer family vacations, kids home from school and traveling to CHA-Rosemont to make the Summer Challenge deadline. So, we have decided to postpone the challenge until November 2008. We will update the submittal form on line and keep you updated on deadlines and category changes. Those who have submitted your entry will be contacted soon. We are pleased to announce that all Hobby Lobby stores will be carrying the full line of Friendly Plastic design sticks and tools in all of their stores after the first of October. If you are living in one of the few states that does not have a Hobby Lobby, we will be posting a list of stores in your area carrying Friendly Plastic. On a very sad note, we wanted to take this opportunity to pay tribute to Susan Clement (pictured left). Susan passed away last month after a valiant personal battle against ovarian cancer. She was a gifted artist who used her talents to spread hope and encouragement to hundreds of cancer patients through her involvement with "Bottles of Hope". We will post information about memorial contributions in her honor as details become available.
