Credit

  1. Until credit arrangements have been made, payment should accompany each order. When placing orders over the phone, by fax, or by mail, payment can be made with VISA, MasterCard or Discover cards, shipped C.O.D., paid by cashier's check or money order. Estimated freight charges should be added to the amount included with the order. Any credit balance due to overpayment will be applied against the next order.

  1. Prices on this website are suggested retail prices and are net f.o.b. factory and are subject to change without notice.
  2. Prices for equipment with special wiring for international use are available upon request.
  3. The information on this website is entered manually and errors are possible. We regret and apologize for any inconvenience resulting from incorrect prices due to typographical errors. AMACO® reserves the right to charge the intended price and the customer will have the option to accept or refuse the purchase.

Packing, Freight, Routing, and Charges

No charge is made for domestic packing or crating. Special packing or wood crating for overseas shipment is invoiced on a time and materials basis. Customers specified freight routing will be honored when compatible with our routing policy and/or is operationally feasible. Routings used are carefully selected. Tariff regulations include sidewalk delivery only; therefore inside or set in place delivery must be arranged by the consignee. Shipments into certain areas are subject to additional charges varying from $5.00 up, when consigned to a private dwelling, apartment, or office building without receiving facilities. Insurance charges on parcel post shipments will be charged to the customer.

Over, Short, or Damaged Shipments

Any shortages not reported within 15 days will not be allowed. This applies to either freight bill shortages or packing shortages. Freight bill shortages must be noted on the delivery receipt. Packing shortages must be reported to us. Damaged, concealed or exposed, ESPECIALLY summer shipments to schools, must be reported to carrier within 15 days and inspection requested. If possible, examine for concealed damage in presence of delivering driver and note on delivery ticket. Exposed damage must be noted and both consignee and driver signatures are required. Subsequent claims must be filed within 9 months. Overages must be reported to us for disposition instructions.

AMACO® Product Liability

AMACO products will be replaced if defective in manufacture or packaging. Except for such replacement, AMACO products are sold without warranty or liability even though defect, damage, or loss is caused by negligence or other fault.

Returned Goods

No credit will be allowed on merchandise returned without authorization. Please request a Returned Goods Authorization Tag when calling or writing for authorization. On merchandise authorized for return because it is defective or due to some error on our part, full credit will be given. If returned for any other reason, the customer will be charged a minimum of 15% of the net valuation plus transport costs. All credits are contingent on salvage value of the returned merchandise.
