It seems the perfect place to be inspired for projects whether you work in clay, glass or any other medium. The awesome colors and beautiful sites of the islands allow one to open their mind to unlimited possibilities during one of your many Hawaii vacations. If you haven't been to the islands it will be hard to understand the sensation of seeing the lovely sight of dew on the flowers which have such vivid colors and the sweet smells that accompany them. However, don't be fooled to think that all of the islands are adorned with such charm. There is also the inspiration of traveling from your big island vacation rental to the violently active volcano and the turmoil of the reaction of hot lava flowing into the ocean. Capturing that in your art would be just as amazing as incorporating the delicate nature of the flowers.

No matter where you go you will find sights that can inspire an artist. Under the ocean you will see such a variety of surrealistic images that you could focus your art around that for a lifetime. The colors of the underwater sea creatures are astounding. The vivid yellows and blues or oranges and whites and an endless combination of colors could lead to a wide variety of projects for one working in clay or class. The challenge would be to recreate such colors in your work. With the variety of colors available it would be a fun challenge though. The shapes and colors are a work of Mother Nature like nothing you'll ever see in Kansas. The various methods of viewing the coast may lead to a variety of projects. Seeing it from the air verses hiking along them verses seeing them from a boat are all different perspectives that would inspire different outcomes.

Another wonderful benefit of Hawaii beach accommodations is they offer you the ability to sit back and relax. Inspiration is different for everyone and comes from a variety of sources. Whether you want to sit on the beach and contemplate the world going by or watch the waves from your beach house taking in the sights, sounds and smells or hike to beautiful waterfalls surrounded by ferns and plants, you can't help but be inspired by what has been created in nature. No matter what medium you work in you can find ideas for your art scattered throughout the islands, just take the time to explore.
