Alan Reinhardt is a self taught free-lance ceramic tile artist/designer. He is a life long resident of Indianapolis and resides on the city’s south side with his wife Denise. “My primary focus has been designing and creating ceramic tile murals and coffee tables for residential use. I am currently designing and producing ceramic tile in the arts & crafts style for local and out of state tile fairs.”

Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library Commemorative Bookcase:
Dimensions: 4′x8′
Description of project: Design, fabricate, install, and maintain a commemorative library bookcase for each branch of the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library System. Donating patrons can see their name in print by purchasing a Limited Edition ceramic book tile to be permanently displayed in the commemorative bookcase of their choice. “Booktiles” are in three sizes for three donation amounts, with various textures, glaze, colors, and inscription fonts. No two “booktiles” are the same. The art work on the printed brochure to advertise these Limited Edition ceramic book tiles features Alan Reinhardt’s commemorative bookcase installation.
