Call To Enterto June 1, 2007 January Winners Photo Page In an effort to create awareness for Diane Gregoire’s grassroots program, cancer treatment and research, designer/artist/author Lisa Pavelka will once again coordinate the event along with AMACO staff. A new category: Best Children’s Theme has been added. Preliminary judging of the contest will be conducted by the Indianapolis chapter of the National Polymer Guild. The top 25 finalists will then be judged by editors and publishers in the crafts industry for CHA Summer 2007, in Rosemont, Illinois. Date of the awards reception to be announced. "Bottles of Hope" was started in 1999 by cancer survivor Diane Gregoire as a way to bring hope and cheer to others afflicted with cancer. For more information, visit: www.bottlesofhope.com In recognition of the importance of this program, AMACO is inviting anyone of any age to create "Bottles of Hope" for submission in this Challenge. All but the winning bottles will be distributed to cancer patients or family members. The winning bottles may be retained indefinitely for promotional use in building awareness for this important program. Donations in the winners’ names will be made to the cancer charities of their choice along with a group donation made in honor of all contributors to the American Cancer Society. Winners will also receive a gift certificate for AMACO product and an engraved award.
