Step 1

Cut a 7/8” by 1¼” piece of royal blue Friendly Plastic® and cut off corners. The corners will round when heated.

Step 2

Using a hole punch, punch out 4 holes from the silver Friendly Plastic® for the butterfly’s body and 5-8 holes from the other colors. Sometimes the hole may not be completely punched out. In that case, twist the part that is still attached and it should come off.  Cut small teardrop shapes for wings from the orange Friendly Plastic®.

Step 3

Arrange wings and dots on blue Friendly Plastic®. It may be necessary to use tweezers to place the pieces.  Don’t worry if a piece falls off the blue Friendly Plastic® before you place the baking sheet in the oven. You can easily add the pieces in stages and reheat as needed.

Step 4

Use the hole punch to punch two holes at the top of the pendant.

Step 5

Attach jump rings to two holes at top of pendant.  String silk cord through the jump rings.  Tie the cord ends in a knot or bow to wear.
